Where is NYHP?
The Westbrook Centre on the Isle of Wight



Who is NYHP for?
NYHP is for young people in school years 10 to 13. It aim is to be a place for young people to meet with God, go deeper in their worship and reflection and to spend a week in a brilliant community. You can find out more about the history and vision around this site.



What is included in to cost?
Everything except transport to the Isle of Wight and any money that might be used in tuck shops or town.



Bursaries/ Grants
We never want to see cost stop someone coming to NYHP so please get in touch if a bursary would mean your child could come.



Sleeping
Young people sleep in dorms of between 4 and 8. When they apply they can let us know any people they are coming with and we do our best to keep fiends together. Girls are upstairs boys are downstairs, on each floor there are leaders rooms and point people if there are any problems at night. All floors have showers and toilets.



Eating and allergies
NYHP is fully catered, three meals are provided daily and copious snacks in between. We have yet to find a dietary requirement the Westbrook Centre can't cater for, when you fill out the application form let us know the need and we will be in touch.



Additional needs/ medical concerns
NYHP has welcomed many young people through its history and we work tirelessly to be as inclusive as we can whilst maintaining the safety of everyone on site. Please let us know any needs or concerns you have and we will be in touch as soon as possible to discuss the individual needs.



Revision and work
We know lots of young people have exams in January as such there will be a space to revise and work daily on site. Our leaders come with a variety of skills and are always happy to help with revision.

All our leaders are DBS’d checked and references taken.
